Dr. Yelena Revere was formerly a Full-time Educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. A native of Miami, Florida, and a proud product of its public-school system, Dr. Revere has been in education since 1997 and in her 4th year in Drop with a total of 37 years in the Florida Retirement.
In the summer, you will find Dr. Revere training youth at the SYIP Summer Youth Internship Program housed out of William H. Turner Technical Art School. She enjoys teaching and finds it fulfilling when helping young adults define their goals in life and to identify their work skills. She provides the stepping-stone for them to be able to achieve financial independence and become goal-oriented.
Dr. Revere brings with her several degrees: a Bachelors Degree in Health Service Administration and Professional Management; a Masters is in Business Administration; and a Masters in Education Administration, Doctoral in Organizational Leadership & Human Service Administration. She is a Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher for the last 25 years with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).

A hunger to continually find opportunities to expand her horizons and education to have a greater impact on her students, Yelena has obtained her 501 c 3 non-profit status for Guidance and College Readiness, Opportunity Training, Education Consulting, and Scholarship Management (GOES) Foundation. This will allow me to help students from low-income areas go to college without loans of any kind.
When asked about her years of entrepreneurship training and education of youth, Dr. Revere replied, “I love what I do. Helping inner-city youths bridge the educational gap between high school and post-secondary endeavors, is what keeps me fighting. Seeing each of my students succeed let’s me know that I’m doing something right.
